DD is a healthy little bug and I really believe that stress can be worse than a half glass of wine, especially later in pregnancy. My doctor was totally fine with it and I was comfortable with the research I had done on the subject. My OB was fine with a glass once a week; and if she felt safe telling me that, I felt that the "safe levels" were probably more than that. We have a friend who had bad anxiety in her 3rd tri and her OB told her to have a glass of wine a couple times a week if she wanted (it relieved her anxity/stress). </p> <p>Some weeks I had 1 glass of wine, sometimes I had half, sometimes I had none. The majority of the world (with lower fetal alcohol birth rates) seems to be ok with a bit, especially towards the end; and it didn't stress me out to have a drink. If you do; enjoy it!! </p>
