@Mrs Green Grass: That's not cool how she made that email known to everyone and that they are overreacting now. I am so sorry you are having a bad day. Hope your week gets better.

Wow sounds like an annoying day! Sorry you are going through!

I really really hate when my nice intentions cause me trouble. This is seriously the story of my life.

Not to stray way from you... I had a disable classmate when I was little (2nd grade). The whole class was moving from the cafeteria to our homeroom and for some reason that day she was having trouble walking at the same pace as the rest of the class (I think we were walking faster than normal). So I stayed back to walk with her. I totally got detention from it and a good beating from my parents for getting detention even though I thought I did the right thing!

I teach high school, but this year I only teach students for 2 periods and I support the rest of the staff with literacy for the rest of the day. (And teachers do not like to be told anything ever.)

First, I pissed off a bunch of science teachers by trying to give them information at 7:30 in the morning without rehearsing the least potentially angering way of giving the info (which was not bad info.)

Second, I offered to watch a class for a lady who wants to see her son play basketball against a big college. And she emailed THE WHOLE STAFF that I was going to do it. She had offered $50 but of course I said I'd do it for free. Now the principal is getting emails about how I only work for 2 periods and am now making money on the side. I don't think anyone should be allowed to email the whole staff, like the option shouldn't even exist on the email program.

I was just trying to be nice!!!!!!! Agh.
