I've always been pretty sensitive to my twins crying, even though you're right - it is totally a way of life. There were definitely many days when they were both crying and I just had to grit my teeth and keep making a bottle or changing one's diaper while the other cried. It always put me on edge/stressed to hear them both crying, but you just have to push through it, I guess? One thing that worked in my favor was tandem nursing. Often they'd cry because they were ready to eat and at least nursing I could pacify both of them at the same time! It still works now, too!

My second had to cry a lot because I couldn't always attend to him immediately. Didn't bother me!

Haha yeah I am that FTM with one kid that's like oh no, crying! As DD has grown, I'm less concern since I know why she's crying, and whether it's serious or not.

@Boogs: @Anagram: I thought my brother who has 3 kids now wouldn't mind the crying but he had to pick up my son when he was crying. So there are some moms with 2 or more kids that aren't bothered by crying. I guess there are others who don't like babies crying.

It's the same when you have one and then you have a second kid, haha. It's kind of hilarious when DH comes home from work and I tell him I'm going to go to the bathroom by myself for a minute or something, and he needs to watch both kids alone. He'll be like, "But M needs to eat and A is crying!" I'm like....yeah, so? This happens all day long. Either hold the baby while you try to prepare Ms dinner one handed, or put the baby down and let her cry for 5 minutes while you make dinner, or hold the baby and let M cry for a few minutes because she's hungry. No one will die with 5 minutes of crying while I go to the bathroom by myself!

It doesn't bother me. As long as I know they are safe and unhurt they will live.

Is it just me but having twins and both babies crying doesn't bother me. There's always one baby crying. Yes, when they are screeching, it's definitely bothers me while I rush to get bottles or while I'm changing one.

I wonder if it's because I'm a twin mom and as long as it's a little bit of crying, they'll live until I get to them in a few minutes.

I feel like my brothers and sisters who had one kid at a time, feel bad when one of my babies is crying. It's kinda a way of life for us for one baby to be crying.
