She's such a ball of energy and takes up 150% of my time. I'm beyond exhausted. Have a ton of guilt about not "enjoying" my first baby...if that makes any sense. I'm also excited but it's been a hard few weeks for me. I honestly felt that going from 1-2 was way easier than going from 0-1. Pregnancy was hard, because I had a very active toddler, but you get through it. The moments when DS is jigging and kissing and playing with his sister make it all worth it :)</p> <p>And I agree with @Running Elley: my son adjusted pretty easily! Luckily DS still took 3 naps while I was in my first tri so I would just nap whenever he napped. It was really difficult towards the end because I was so big and miserable and didn't want to do anything. It was really hard for me to not be able to just get on the floor to play with DS. I had a looooot of guilt. </p> <p>Since DD has been born it hasn't been too bad! The adjustment period was easier for DS because he was still so young IMO. Pregnancy is hard when you have a little person there to entertain and care for, and breastfeeding is hard too for that reason. The first 6 months are pretty rough. I do however get super sick during pregnancy, so that certainly might not happen to everyone.
