@Mrs. Oatmeal: Oh, that's so cool that your NP controlled your PCOS! When I was diagnosed, my acupuncturist did tell me that there were signs in our past sessions that showed I might have PCOS. It's so fascinating what they pick up in our sessions.

@bluestriped bee: I have PCOS, but my doctor was a dolt and wouldn't put me on Metformin, Clomid or anything. I went to an RE, but we couldn't afford even a monitored cycle at the time. I started seeing a naturopath, and we set a deadline of Jan 2013 to revisit either the RE or pursue adoption. The naturopath got my PCOS under control and we conceived in Nov 2012. We'll see what happens this go around- we're in a new city with a new doctor and naturopath so that's promising.

@Mrs. Oatmeal: Good luck with your next TTC journey. Ugh! IF never makes anything easy. ;) Remind me again why you didn't use a standard IF treatment and what it was.

@Mrs. Jump Rope: Hello!! Are you due in the Aug? There's another IFer who is, also, due in Aug. Exciting!!

@Mrs Green Grass: Well, I switched clinics in April and was finally diagnosed with mild PCOS and DOR (previousely unexplained), so I've been on new meds to treat that. My RE was hopeful that I could get pregnant on IUIs but we could have gone with IVF. A tiny part of me wishes I went to IVF, but I need to remind myself that the reason why we wanted to try IUIs is so we could, at least, rule out IUI when we try to have baby #2. My thinking is if I went with IVF, I would always wonder if we could have been successful with IUI. It was mostly motivated by my pocketbook. I was hoping (cheaper) IUIs with new diagnosis would be the trick.

So exciting about D walking!!

Ah, I forgot you were one and done. Yeah, I can see how you can ignore the IF stuff.

Yes, (if you can) please keep updating us on D. You are one of the first IVF success stories that I know of. Love seeing D grow up!

@bluestriped bee: I remember you had a reason for not doing IVF at least now, but what is it? For us I think it was mostly my husbands swimmers that were the issue, so IUI didn't help much...

We are great. D is finally starting to take his first few steps at 18+ months. And we are one and done, so I get to kind of ignore the IF stuff in my own life.

I would love to support the IF boards more. I think part of the reason I haven't is that I've forgotten a lot of the specific details of my IVF cycle. And the other thing is that I don't have anything new to say, so I feel like I just repeat myself. But I will try to check in more often!

Hello!

I am doing well. I'm 33 weeks along with our second baby.
I haven't been in the IF threads because we aren't doing treatments right now!

Hi there :)
I'm doing well! Dealing with some crazy wonky cycles now, so I'm headed back to the naturopath Thursday to see if we can get it under control. Miss K will be one in August, and I'm wondering about TTC again- it could take another two years (in which case, we should have started like yesterday), but then it might not. Damn you, IF, for not making things easy.

How are you doing? Disney is exciting! Hoping you'll be able to fit your IUI in- Disney would be an awesome TWW distraction.

I feel a little strange using the 'IF blogger' moniker, because u have a baby, and I didn't use standard IF treatment. But I suppose we need to band together, instead of let semantics isolate us.

@Mrs Green Grass: Haha. I guess it was pretty vague. Just wanted to see how the everyone was doing. I know there were some updates on the blog, but some of the bloggers have been quiet. I completely understand that they might be busy. Guess I just wanted to see them 'check-in' on the boards. A bunch of IFers in the IF check-in thread were talking about the current IF bloggers and that's what prompted me to post this.

Wanted to say hello to all the IF bloggers & maybe see if there were any current IF users who were considering submitting a guest post.

As for me, I'm doing better. After my BFN on my 5th IUI, I took the weekend off to mope and vent off my frustration. I posted something on FB and got a lot of support. So it was a good end to my weekend. AF just made an appearance so I'm hoping I can fit an IUI in before I go to Disney World in 12 days. (Sounds tight but I triggered on day 9 last cycle and IUI on day 10 and 11.)

How are you? Any updates for you? How's your LO?
