Basically I pump before work if I'm not going to be able to pump until 11 or so, then do that pump and then pump again once I get home after I've fed her. </p> <p>So I think you're fine to do your morning pump and midday. Definitely no need to do two pumps back to back. To start I pumped morning and at the beginning of my prep (around 11) and then nurses right after school. Eventually I dropped the morning pump because I didn't really need it for long. I think as long as you keep the frequency of pumping/feeding, then the stretch of time doesn't matter AS much (and you're only talking about +.5 or + 1 hr). How long do you pump for?
