My sister was a big time peeker, where I wanted to wait for the surprise on Christmas day. I would also find an activity to do together as a family Christmas morning since opening presents upon presents may not work this year. I knew where my parents hid the gifts for years and years. Now my mom tells me stories of them assembling toys on Christmas Eve super late, so that they would be ready for the morning. I would wake up at 6am to open up gifts on Christmas Day. Well he comes in my room while I am getting ready for work with his box (unopened) and asks when he can have it? I was sooo mad! I told him that he needed to stay out of my closet and that the gift was a present for another little boy.</p> <p>I thought that was the end. Then I went in his room.</p> <p>He had opened his sisters gift - totally unwrapped the box and all the parts inside - OMG!!!!!</p> <p>I called him upstairs and he said he liked it wanted to play with it. grrrrr</p> <p>Anway -what do I do now??? Still give them to the kids for Christmas? We had just talked 2 days ago about how Santa brings gifts for the kids NOT mommy and daddy. Whats the chance he will connect the 2? I mean his gift I could get away with but I cant really "fix" his sisters gift.</p> <p>btw - he is 5 </p>
