I like to keep frozen waffles in the freezer for quick breakfasts or snacks, you could probably find a recipe that uses whole meal flour and fruit?

I give my LO milk in the morning and then take her breakfast to daycare so I don't have to worry about feeding her at home. I give her a hot breakfast every day (we have a good thermos that keeps it hot)--my husband usually fries up and egg and adds a sausage link, or sometimes we have leftover banana pancakes or zucchini muffinds or spinach waffles. http://berlinbythebay.com/2014/03/07/berlin-bites-buckwheat-spinach-waffles/

The majority of M's breakfast is eaten in the car on the way to daycare. We typically do mini quiche, healthy muffins, waffles, pancakes. She can eat the last two by herself if I cut them into bite sized pieces. I tend to make the baked goods with oatmeal, Greek yogurt and bananas and not much else. I rarely use just AP flour that way it's not just empty carbs.

I tried oatmeal bars once and was not a fan. Maybe I just need a different recipe?

I often put half oatmeal half milk in a big bowl in the microwave, with some frozen fruit in it, then blitz it for about ten minutes until you can cut it into slices and peel it out. She gobbles it on the go!

Breakfast smoothies and a cup of cereal is my go to for early out the door mornings. Maybe an apple, too. My husband has been doing bike racing, so we all get up early go get out there, and this is a perfect breakfast for everyone. We use yogurt, fruit, peanut butter, granola, and it turns out delicious.

Muffins! You can do ones with chunks of ham or chicken sausage and peas. That plus a banana!

@edelweiss: good idea on the smoothie, she loves those. And you just helped me remember about egg cups. I used to make some spinach, bacon and egg "muffins" and freeze them for quick breakfasts before having M.
@cmomma17: @Mrs. Rabbit: healthy muffins are a great idea! Thanks!

Breakfast burritos! You can make a ton of them, and then freeze them individually :-) In the morning then, just grab one and pop it in the microwave!

I'd do muffins! Bake a big batch and store in the freeze. Pull one out every morning, nuke it and go! There are muffin recipes on pinterest with greek yogurt in them for extra protein and you can always add extra fruits or veggies.
Smoothies are a good idea too!

would you be up for making her a breakfast smoothie? maybe a big batch that you freeze and thaw in portions?

or maybe a little breakfast burrito with egg, sauteed vegetable and cheese (and or meat)?

I'm struggling with getting out the door on time every single morning. My daughter takes f.o.r.e.v.e.r. to get ready in the morning. Not only that, she wants to sit on my lap to eat, as well. I have no time for this! I get her up 45 minutes before we have to leave the house at 7am. I am ready to go by the time I get her up. I'd like to offer her some healthy meal options that we can transport in the car, if needed. Oatmeal and applesauce in bowls don't exactly transport well...

I want her to have a protein and fruit for breakfast, plus milk. Our typical breakfast is eggs or oatmeal, plus fruit or applesauce and milk.
