Congratulations, and what a fantastic due date (it's my birthday!)

Weeks 15-19 were the worst for me. Symptoms started to fade and I couldn't feel LO move around yet. We were so on edge b/c I had 2 prior losses, so I absolutely know how you feel. It's so hard not to go out of your mind with worry!

The great thing is...you heard a super strong heartbeat! It's definitely normal for symptoms to fade, and soon enough, LO will be kicking you in the ribs or getting hiccups that prevent you from sleeping

I had the same concerns as you did early on (I'm 34 weeks now with a boy). I hardly had any symptoms in the first trimester. Initially I had headaches and was very tired but any and all symptoms began to fade around 8 weeks and really never came back (I've been super lucky).

But don't freak out - it's totally normal for symptoms to fade and hopefully they stay away for you too. Sounds like you're off to a wonderful start - congratulations!

@meg44life: Yep, what all the others have said! I'm due 9/22 and have felt pretty normal the last three days other than being really hungry. I started to worry, but my mom said she only had morning sickness from 6-8 weeks so I've got my fingers crossed that the worst is over! And if not, at least I've enjoyed my few days of feeling good.

Congrats and welcome - and yes, join us on the Sept. '14 due date board!

Even bad morning sickness can ebb and flow, I think it's normal! Of course, that didn't stop me from freaking out on days I felt ok, because even bad symptoms are reassuring, you know? Emotionally, the beginning of the second trimester, after morning sickness ended but before having a bump and being able to feel kicks was the hardest for me. I even went to the office a couple of times & begged them to use the doppler so I could hear the heartbeat for reassurance! Hugs!

I was one of the unlucky ones whose symptoms never faded (til 30 weeks!! The nausea!) Which is nice because that helped reassure me- although on the off day where I felt almost normal I clearly panicked. MANY people lose their symptoms as they approach the 2nd tri and I know many women who felt like their best normal selves in 2nd tri! Hopefully you're one of them! Know that your worries are normal though! It gets easier when you can feel them move to reassure you :) (ps- CONGRATS!)

Welcome! I'm due September 19 and have been feeling a bit the same. It's way different than when I was pregnant with LO and puked for 6 months, and by the time that stopped I could feel her kicking as reassurance. But, I'm just trusting that everything is okay unless I have a reason not to :)

I haven't had strong pregnancy symptoms at any point besides consistent sore boobs, everything else has been very mild! Barely had any morning sickness/never threw up. It's hard not to worry though in the beginning! :) I'm almost 18 weeks now.

If you haven't found them already, there are due date boards, you should join Sept! :)

I was like that in the first trimester! Most days I didn't feel good, but then I'd have 2-3 where I did and I'd get worried. It was all fine. 28 weeks this week and baby girl is kicking me as we speak :)

I totally felt exactly like this earlier today! :) I'm 12w5d and just had an ultrasound today. I hadn't seen or heard any evidence of the baby since 7 weeks so even though I had no signs or symptoms something was wrong, I was still worried there might be. But baby is totally fine!

My advice is relax as best you can. :) Symptoms often do fade as we get near the end of the first tri so that is nothing to worry about! I know it's easier said than done.

Hey ladies, new to this website! I am due September 16th, so excited! How far along is everyone else? We had our first ultrasound last week at 8 weeks and saw the baby and got to hear the heartbeat which was 167bpm. From the beginning , my symptoms have not been all that bad, sore boobs, peeing alot, tired, headaches, queasy & hungry more often. The last week it seems like my symptoms are gone or are not close to how they were. Even though we heard the heartbeat, I still freak out. I have heard that as you get close to the second tri, some womens symptoms will fade. Anyone else gone through this or currently going through it?
Happy Pregnancy to everyone:)
