Apparently that should have indicated a boy, but we had a little girl! My boys heartrate has been all over the map. When I was in the hospital last month (turned out to be food poisoning or a stomach virus) I noticed a major change too. Maybe when our body is stressed that's a side effect. I have been paying attention to the hbpm at each of my appointments and am curious if any of you "read into" the results and whether or not it correlated with a specific gender, according to the old wives tale (i.e. higher hbpm=girl, lower=boy).</p> <p>Like many, we started off this pregnancy very high (&gt;160) but have steadily come down to the low-mid 140s. </p>
