@petunia354: Yikes on the rash and dermatitis! DS still wakes up multiple times a night to nurse also.

@Alivoo01: DS is 10 months and we still change his diaper at least 1x/night. Last night we changed it twice and he still leaked! It's happened using Pampers Cruisers & Honest Co. diapers. We might have to switch to Babydry but I honestly didn't notice a huge difference with those either.

FWIW, DS drink a lot at night, so I know that plays a major role in the amount of pee produced overnight....I don't mind changing his diaper because I hate the thought of him being wet and he has battled all sorts of different rashes, both contact dermatitis and yeast rashes.

@Smurfette: We currently use the ones in your second link. DS is in size 1 diapers. Will keep in mind the overnight protection ones when he's in size 3! Thanks!

We use these. They start in size 3, but R was in size 2 during the day when we started and it was fine. Never had leak issues with them. Only time has been when she peed so much it broke the diaper it was so full.

DD pees a lot. We went up a diaper size and it didnt help. if she has an extra bottle at night we change her while she's drinking so she doesn't leak out of her diaper.

She has been on Up and Up brand diapers (Wood Fluff Pulp, Chlorine-Free, Latex-Free, Perfume-Free) and we make sure to put a lot of aquaphor on her at night and so far no rashes. My DD has very sensitive skin

@Smurfette: I'm currently using Pampers baby dry at night. Is that an overnight diaper or is there a specific overnight diaper?

We only would change when she was eating multiples times a night. And if by 3 am it was super full, then we would do it. I hated it cause it just woke up more and so much harder to get her to sleep.

Now she is STTN, we don't. We just put a lot of triple paste on to be sure.

@Alivoo01: Have you tried overnight diapers?

Nope, we leave them on at night, and they are massive in the morning! She rarely has diaper rash, so we aren't terribly worried about it.

I don't change overnight for the same reason (unless it's poo) and her diapers are definitely heavy by morning. Doesnt seem to bother her and doesnt cause rashes.

I don't, though she is more of a regular pee-er. But I think she was getting a rash from the 12 hour diapers so now it's just the regular ones.

DS is a heavy pee-er. Even if you JUST changed his diaper, you can count on the fact not even 5 minutes later, that little pee indicator line is blue! At night, I don't change his diaper because I'm afraid it'll fully wake him up and keep him awake (he's already doing this on his own this past week). Needless to say, by morning, his diaper probably weighs a few pounds of just pee. No joke!! Thankfully, no leaks and the diapers are supposed to keep them dry for 12 hours any how. However, I'm wondering if keeping such a heavy wet diaper on him for this long is okay??

Do you change your LOs wet diaper in the middle of the night?
