Lost my first 2 years ago. Was 7 (?)weeks with my second and had bright red blood (quite a bit) and cramping for two days straight. And I was traveling, of course. Came home had a stat ultrasound and there was a heartbeat. Baby was born in April healthy as can be.

Just wanted to chime in with another early bleeding success story. I had everything from brown spotting to bright red bleeding (gushing. TMI) First ultrasound at 7 weeks showed the baby with a slow heart beat. Long story short, everything worked out and that baby is now 8.5 months! Never had an explanation for the bleeding. Sending you positive thoughts

If it's a small amount and brown blood, I wouldn't be too concerned, since brown blood means the bleeding has already stopped. The cramping is pretty normal, or at least it was for me with both pregnancies (and much worse on my 2nd). I cramped pretty bad for about 3 weeks after my bfp. I was convinced that it was going to be a miscarriage, but both pregnancies ended up just fine. Good luck!

I had bright red bleeding at 5w5d, and then again from about 6w3d off and on for about a week. Currently almost 28 weeks. Fingers crossed for you!

With this pregnancy, I had heavy pink spotting for all of week 6. They saw a sac but too early for heartbeat. And then heavy bright mucousy red with clots all of week 7 before it turned brown. I also had bad cramps and lots of pelvic pain. I, too, was so scared of an ectopic until they found a heartbeat at week 7. They suspected but didn't confirm that it was an SCH, just kept telling me some women just bleed and continue w healthy pregnancies. I'm now 21 wks.

Not the same exactly, but I had bright red bleeding at 5w6d and saw a healthy pregnancy with HB three days later (my OB suggested blood work to check levels prior to US). I'm 24w with that baby now. Sending good vibes your way for a healthy pregnancy.

Am 5w5d.. I had some bad cramping, almost like a burning feeling close to my groin, around 5 this morning. Went pee and couldn't see much. Got up at 7 and saw dark pink on the TP, no clots though. Scared the shit out of me. Got a bedside abdominal ultrasound and HCG draw at the hospital. Def saw a yolk sac and possible a teeny dot inside.. Doc said would see better by doing an internal but decided not to unless numbers looked bad. HCG was over 10,000. Doc says that's closer to over 6w so *could be* twins or my days are off. Doing another draw on Xmas Eve just to make sure numbers are rising. Saw an amount of brown when I wiped at home now too. I'm worried since I was on letrozole there's another ectopic or this one is on its way out...

Just looking for some reassurance, if anyone else has gone through this...
