Well, I DID freak out temporarily, just because not ovulating when you've been so regular and fertile before can point to some bigger hormonal issues, but I called up a friend who is a naturopath and very experienced in hormones and all things of this nature. She reassured me that it most definitely could be the 70 lbs. of weight loss that is throwing my hormones so far out of whack, to the point of not ovulating, and that it's very possible that I've completely skipped this period and to watch out that I don't get pregnant when I ovulate THIS cycle, lol. And we just had unprotected sex this morning. Gleeps! Now I can freak out about THAT! Lol, we're not TTC, and I really don't want it to happen for another 6 months, so it would be really nice to see AF in 3 weeks or so. Really, really nice. Not going to stress about it though. Said naturopath friend told me to keep temping and if things don't go back to a more normal pattern within 3 months of going off the diet (I've been on the HHCG protocol) and resetting my metabolism that I can worry about it then. So, whew. I feel better. Thanks for the help, ladies!

Definitely looks like you haven't O'd. I wouldn't worry yet - your body is probably just sorting things out. You want a sustained rise for at least 3 days before a drop, in order to confirm O, but you want higher temperatures to stick around until AF arrives.

Yeah I agree with the others, I don't see an ovulation pattern! Keep temping and don't freak out. I got pregnant with day 30 something ovulation, you just might be late o'ing this cycle!

You might be able to pinpoint better when you add in the other sogns. Lots of things can lead to weird temperatures.

@ms.janedoe: I can't read it very well on my phone, I'll have to check it out on my computer later. And looking back, no, I can't pinpoint ovulation, although I have only temped for 2 cycles now, not 3 like I thought. :( This is depressing me a little. I'll have to talk to a naturopath friend of mine who's knows a lot about hormones and see what she thinks. I am working in shedding the last of the 80 lbs. I'd set as a goal and assumed it would just make me that much more fertile, but apparently not. Here's hoping my hormone levels even out before we're ready to TTC because we only have a 3 month window to make it happen it we should probably wait a whole 'nother year.

We're not TTC right now, but I was trying to get back in touch with what was happening when for when we do actually TTC in about 6 months. Keep in mind, so far I've had no trouble conceiving the two children we already have, we never even really tried and we got them within 1 or 2 cycles of not using protection. Our first was conceived when I was at a similar weight to what I am now and the second was at 260 lbs. Both complication-free conceptions, pregnancies, and deliveries.

Hell yeah, congrats on the weight loss, lady!!! That's awesome!!! :D Did you find anything that looks like O on your other charts?

@ms.janedoe: Hmmmmm. Now this is concerning to me. I forgot about that part. I'm looking back and wondering if I ovulated during any of the last 3 months I've been temping. I've also lost ~70 lbs. in the last 6 months. I knew the weight loss could mess with my cycle, which it did throw me off a day or two either direction, but I didn't know it could stop me from ovulating.

I'm not seeing a sustained temperature rise, either. That's what you would be looking for as evidence that you're in the luteal phase. On my pregnancy chart, I was late but the temperature stayed high, which is pretty typical. You could be pregnant, but your chart isn't showing it now. It's also possible you're having an annovulatory cycle or that ovulation was delayed.

Yep! You're looking for sustained temperatures for your luetel phase (they say average is about 14 days, but as with evvvverything else, it can totally vary!). Your temperature will usually drop off pretty sharply right before you get your period.

If your temps stayed up kinda by where they were after the CD11 temp spike, I'd say you O'ed, but it looks like they came down again right after. Sigh, isn't it fun?! ;)

@ms.janedoe: Oh. It's supposed to be sustained? I thought the spike on cd11 was the post-O temp rise. It's been QUITE awhile since I read TCOYF.

Hmm. To me, it doesn't look like you O'ed at all. You're lookin' for a sustained temp rise, and unless I just totally suck (which is definitely a possibility), I'm not seeing one... Any chance O could be/would be delayed this month?

Wondering if someone could look at my chart from the last month and give me some guidance. Pretty sure it's obvious when I O'd and we used protection right afterwards (and before too, I just forgot to record those times. But now I'm 6 days late with no BFP, but no sign of AF in sight. I've only recently started to get back into charting and have only been temping, not checking cervical fluid or position of my cervix. Was gonna add those in once I was back in the habit of temping. But I can tell you just from looking at the toilet paper is not typical if how it usually is right before AF.

Oh, and there are 4 or 5 days missing towards the end because I was traveling with my daughter and I neglected to temp those days because we were sleeping in the same bedroom and I did NOT want my alarm waking my sweet 2-year-old at 5 a.m., lol.

Anyways, does this look like something someone can read? Mainly, AM I PREGNANT OR AM I NOT BECAUSE MY LIFE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW! Lol.
