It's a problem. My DH recruits college seniors for his company, and you would be shocked at how involved parents are. They will call and try to negotiate with DH about salary, location, etc. He's always like, "Uhh, I can't talk to you about this..." and they get angry. Their parents also go pick out where they are going to live in their new city, buy them furniture, everything!
