I found out in an interesting way (negative test, then random quant bHCG my GP at a regular checkup insisted on doing which yielded a really low but positive result, a weekend of anxiety and finally a strong positive in urine and blood tests). </p> <p>I'm Canadian (from Toronto) and my husband is Australian, and we live together in Sydney Australia. I moved here 8 or 9 years ago and have no plans to leave! I'm a little bit nervous about having a baby here without my parent's support full-time, but I love my MIL and know she will be there for me, and my parents travel well for their age so I know they will spend as much time as possible here, once the baby (hopefully!!) arrives safely!</p> <p>I'm a teacher and am currently very nervous about coping with morning sickness. In fact my first post on HB isn't this one, but a post about M/S in the pregnancy boards!</p> <p>Glad to meet all of you - hope to get to know you better over the next 8/9 months! Xx </p>
