But now that I'm back to work (and back on a desktop)....I'm back on HB! Hi ladies!</p> <p>Gideon Everett was born July 23. 7lbs9oz and 21.75" long. I had been having prodromal/non-productive contractions for two weeks and it was AWFUL. I knew I wasn't going to make it to my scheduled c-sec date (July 28) and I was right! After going to the hospital for the fourth time, they gave me IV fluids to try and stop the contractions (which were ever 5 minutes at this point). They were going to send me home since I wasn't dilating. Apparently, my insurance wasn't going to cover my csection before 39 weeks (I was 38w6d....for real) until it was "medically necessary" and I was dilating. Well, long story short, just as they were about to discharge me, my doctor checked my cervix one final time....and I had dilated 2cm. So....off we went! He was born via "emergency" csection 30 minutes later.</p> <p>I don't have too many newborn pics (since I'm on my work computer), but here are some I stole of fb.
