Is her issue night waking or going to sleep?

I have heard just quietly putting her back in bed each time she gets up at bed time works well. For night wakings we do check on him since it happens rarely.

An hour and 10 minutes! But then she was out. At one point she was pounding on her bedroom door, but when she'd been quiet about 15 minutes, I checked on her and she had climbed back into her bed and was asleep!

Here's hoping tomorrow night is under and hour.

Tell me that somebody somebody here has done the Ferber method with their toddler and been successful. Tonight is night one and we have so far dealt with multiple climbs out of bed, one round of throw up, and an hour of crying. We've gone from having her in her bed with the rail up, to having to close her bedroom door and listening to her pound on it. This is probably the hardest thing that I have had to do, but at 22 months, she needs to be able to go to sleep on her own.

Lately, we have had to have one of us end up sleeping with her starting at 1-2 a.m. and to put her to sleep one of us lays around with her for 30 minutes to an hour.
