Think in terms of the largest base (not necessarily the widest brim, since the center can be small). If you know there will be a lot of stuff, something more picnic basket shaped can hold more junk.</p> <p>You can line the baskets with colorful Easter tea towels or colorful ribbons wrapped around the handle. If they have liners that fit, then maybe grab those, but if you get liners you may feel pressure to personalize them with names and depending on your skills, that might be a pain unless you can find some iron-on letters.</p> <p>I would definitely get the big cellophane basket wrappers - they always make the finished product look fancier. </p> <p>Things like the colorful grass and plastic eggs can be bought for cheap at the dollar store, but if you want to save yourself a trip, just grab them there I guess. </p> <p>You may have overflow - like more things than can fit in the basket. If that's the case, I would get your hands on some thick cardboard (like from a box) and wrap that with seasonal gift wrap and make it a base on which you can rest the basket and attach the remaining items (you can use tape or pipe cleaners or sandwich ties through a hole, etc). </p> <p>When assembling the basket, put the largest item dead in the center of the basket and then arrange stuff around it by height. Taller items in the back, smaller/shorter items in the front. The teacher wanted to put together Easter baskets for him and his two siblings so the parents have been collecting items for a few weeks now. Somehow I've been perceived as the crafty mom 😁 (I'm not!!!) and was asked to put the baskets together! Of course, I said yes but now the pressure is ON because they need to look amazing!! This little boy may not make it and I want him and his sisters to be SO excited to see these baskets. I'm at a craft store right now! Any ideas?!</p> <p>What would make them look over the top and make these kids say "wow"?! </p>
