I'm gonna follow this, too. M just started doing better, but the last few hours of the early morning, he just wants to nurse every 45 min to an hour and I know he doesn't need to.

C put herself on a schedule.... She's 8 weeks and wakes at 12:30, 2:30, 5:00 and 6:15 every morning. I always let her nurse but I know she doesn't need to eat for all of these because she will only eat for a minute or two each waking. I have tried offering the paci and rocking her to sleep. It works, but she'll wake up an hour later, and it usually takes longer to rock her to sleep than it does to just put her on the boob. She does have reflux, so I try to keep her upright after each feeding, but the lack of sleep is winning lately and I put her down almost immediately so I can try to get an hour of sleep before she wakes again.

Any ideas on how to get her to drop just one of these MOTN wake-ups is greatly appreciated!
