If there is a baby wearing group near you, if recommend going to a meeting and trying some out. I'm definitely still a beginner and no expert but I had to watch and attend a couple BWI meeting before I was comfortable putting my babies into a ring sling. For me, it was hard for me at first to get the right rails to adjust it correctly. For my first ring sling, I got one with stripes so I could easily adjust.
