@swedishfish: what do you use the pockets for? I have two Kate spade diaper bags and they don't have a lot of pockets, but they hold a lot and I love them. In the main compartment, I always have some diapers, wipes, the included changing pad and a spare outfit and my wallet. In the outside side pockets I have LOs bottle and paci in one side and usually a water bottle for me in the other side. I don't usually take much else. Sometimes we take a travel bottle warmer, but that fits in the main compartment.

They are so big I use one as a weekend bag for myself when we go on trips. And it has stroller clips, which is so useful for me.

I also really like JJB, BUT, to me, using smaller bags makes any bag work better. A friend gifted me a set of Sugar Snap totes. They are expensive, but any smaller bags would work equally well. You could use wet bags, small fabric pouches... whatever, really. The organization makes things easier to find, and I can just take the bag(s) I need and leave the others in the car. One benefit to the Sugar Snap bags is that they can clip to the hardware on the outside of my diaper bag if I need more stuff but it's too full. You can do that with most wet bags, as well, though.

I second Ju Ju Be bags. We have the Be All and the Be Prepared and they get us through pretty much anything. I also love that I can throw the whole bag in the washer when it needs to be more than spot cleaned.

I have a Ju Ju Be BFF and a ju ju be hobo (smaller than the BFF). I love ju ju be diaper bags! I think they are very well thought out bags. The BFF is a backpack but also has a strap that you can wear it on your shoulder. I love the front mommy pocket and the smaller pocket on the front is great. I love how it opens up and and there are lots of pockets in the inside. It's really a great bag.

I have a Skip Hop Studio and it's just OK. Pockets are OK but once they are full there is no room in the middle. It's fine, but nothing super special.

I have a PPB boxy backpack and DH has a Diaper Dude messenger bag. They are too small for me. We bring the DD bag to the babysitter's house so I guess it works for that.

I also have a PPB wistful weekender and it's...ok. I don't love it. The pockets aren't quite useful enough and things get lost in there.

I love the quality of PPB but I'm more than interested in hearing about what you love.
