Instead, I started keeping hampers in the places that we tended to chuck our clothes and it has worked out much better. I kid you not, I have one just outside our kitchen even (I tell people it is for kitchen linens but quite a bit of clothing winds up there.) DH sorts his into several piles including one for laundered (dry clean) shirts and he finally hangs up his suits-these get steamed at home. My sorting includes just a couple of piles and towels. When he is not looking I wash his stuff with mine, but otherwise he likes to keep it separate.</p> <p>We have a three sorter hamper that is draped (not full) of clothes. We need help with organization. Our laundry room is small and unless we get a stackable or all in one washer/dryer we do not have space to sort there. We have space in the closet, bedroom, and bathroom for hampers. </p> <p>Any advice as to how I can keep the floors free from clothing debris? Do you label the hampers? </p>
