I am sure there is nothing I can do to fix this...but maybe others have gone through it and can offer 1) encouragement 2) ideas 3) co-miseration...

K (2.5) has always been a great sleeper. She goes down at 7pm and usually is up between 6:30/7:30am. She transitioned to a toddler bed in early January pretty seemlessly.

The last 2 weeks she has been waking up at 5:45am...because she poops...She doesnt want to go back to sleep in a poopy diaper (I totally get this and dont blame her). My options have been:

1) Leave her in there...she'll sit and play and what not until I go in to get her at like 7am.
2) Go in an change her then tell her its still night nights...she usually is quiet for a short period (10 mins or so) then goes back to playing.
3) just get up with her and pray for a better nap?

I am 9 mos preggo with #2...and my last few hours of sleep in the morning are the best so this has been devastating! Any advice? Suggestions?

Presumably there is no way to get her not to poop right? Like through diet changes or anything?
