This was such a tough time for me too. Hugs! I think I started feeling movement around 17/18 weeks and then it really felt like I was pregnant. My sister had twins last year and she said she could feel them much sooner, like 13/14 weeks so maybe that is what you're feeling!

The medical assistant had a hard time finding the HB using the doppler at 11 weeks, so OB did a quick u/s. I think it can be difficult at this stage. If they don't find it next time, definitely insist on a quick u/s to put your mind at ease.

I completely understand. After a m/c last year, I was a hot mess this time (still am sometimes). I went to the OB at 9 weeks (the EXACT day I found out last time that there wasn't a heartbeat) and even though I had an ultrasound early this time, I demanded another one because I NEEDED that peace of mind.

I know how hard it is, but I'm sure everything will be fine!! It is their job to make you feel comfortable, so hold them to it!

Oh yeah, I didn't feel the slightest bit pregnant until I was around 24 weeks!! It took forever and I freaked myself out all the time, because I had an early loss as well. And like a PP, my "non-moving" baby was practicing mixed martial arts before he got evicted! You are so early yet! And if you are worried, voice those concerns to the OB. They might be able to sneak you in for an appointment earlier.

@FutureMrsMcK: Thank you!
@coacheswife123: I know it seems early but I can't help but think that's what it is. It sometimes feels like something is tickling deep inside above my vag/cervix. Sorry for the TMI...
@Sparks: I keep telling myself that soon I will be complaining about being SO big and VERY pregnant. I can't wait till I actually look pregnant and not just chunky.
@Bao: We lost our first at 5 weeks. I took that pretty hard and keep thinking about what if we lost these babies too. After watching them move...it would be crushing. Its seriously torture to have to wait so long to know if your little ones are okay. I need to keep telling myself there will be heart beats.

I know the feeling. I worried all.the.time during my pregnancy with A, and sure enough, still worrying during this pregnancy. It's still early to feel movement, and if they have trouble finding a heartbeat this next appointment (which I'm confident all will be well ;) ) then they should do an ultrasound anyway, if not for sure demand one for your own peace of mind. Hang in there momma, it will be ok!

Don't stress! I didn't feel movement yet at that point (and she turned out to be an acrobat in there!) and barely looked pregnant some days (later got HUGE). A couple more weeks and much more will be happening :)

I have to say, I REALLY hated this time...from about 12 weeks until DS started moving. Most of my first trimester symptoms had gone (it was a precious few weeks where even my almost always present nausea faded off sometimes) and I was just a hot, paranoid mess.

I know it's hard, but try not to stress! I'm sure everything is fine! I didn't really start to show until I was close to 20 weeks (I didn't show AT ALL at 12-13 weeks), and you have twins, so I'm guessing it will be sooner for you.

My MW was always astounded by how quickly she found E's beat--in just a minute or two, so if I were you and he tried to stop looking before you heard it I would just insist he keep looking (and then if he still couldn't find them, demand an U/S).

Big hugs sweetie! Everything will be fine! I bet someday in the near future you'll be shaking your head at your 13 week pregnant self for worrying about not feeling pregnant!

For the last two weeks I have felt pretty good...well most my pregnancy I have felt pretty good but more so recently. I feel like I haven't made any progress. I don't really feel any bigger than I did at 9 weeks. I think I feel or see my bump one day and the next day there is nothing. I also think I have felt the babies moving but I question if my mind is playing tricks on me. The only time I feel pregnant is when I am bloated. I'm finally able to sleep through most the night & if I get up to pee I usually go back to sleep.

I'll be 13 weeks on Thursday & I have another appointment Wednesday to do another Doppler. Two weeks ago he thought he heard a beat for a split second but gave up after just a few min of trying. I have read where this is the time that you start to feel better & pee less cause the babies are starting to move up more but I can't help but think about the what ifs. I'm going to demand another U/S if he can't find the beats again. I can't go another two weeks to find out if they are okay or not.
