I'm not sure how you would feel about this but we give ours a bottle of formula after their last nursing session, right before bed. It helped keep them full for a bit longer. I know it's not the solution for everyone but it works for us! It's the only formula try get for the day, otherwise it's all BM. Definitely try a dream feed right before you go to bed to see if that helps too!

Have you tried incorporating a dream feed? That worked really well for us.

Hi there. My little guy has been pretty consistent for the past month or so in his sleeping schedule. While I appreciate the consistency, I wish he would stretch out his time between feeds just a bit. Even an hour would be so amazing. But he is like clockwork! He eats at 7 (~5 ounces) and goes to sleep at 7:30pm, then is up at 12am (usually ~3 ounces), 3am (usually ~4 ounces), and then either 5 or 6am. If he makes it to 6 he is ravenous (~5 ounces). I am exclusively pumping at this point and always have more in the bottle than he drinks, especially during the day. I've tried to encourage him to eat more during the day but he refuses to eat more than ~4 ounces, or 5 if I am lucky.

I'm going back to work soon and struggling. Considering trying a dream feed so I can adjust which is his longest stretch of sleep. I've been so tired that I've been going down around the same time he does in the evening.
