Wish I had tried those sooner, but everyone said APNO was a miracle worker so I kept with it. The LC in my hospital gave it to me and I found it so much more soothing than any of the lotions/creams intended for treating sore nipples. DD is 6 days old and my nipples are a mess. The same thing happened with DS and they eventually toughened up, but looking for tips to try to make that happen sooner. It's so painful :crying: I've been putting breast milk all over them and letting it air dry, then topping with lanolin or nipple butter. Also trying the Soothies pads right now.</p> <p>I have an appointment with an LC on Friday to check our latch but they said it looked great in the hospital and baby is gaining weight well (was already above birth weight at 5 days). I'm very fair-skinned and have been told that can make for more sensitive nipples. </p>
