@helloperidot: Uggh I am so sorry you are too! Last pregnancy I was really bad with the brushing teeth thing, but it also subsided at some point, plus I only have to brush teeth twice a day vs heading into a bathroom a bajillion times a day. I will let you know if anything helps at all; but so far no

Oh my God, I'm going through EXACTLY the same thing. Every time I get near a bathroom or think about a bathroom. I also retch or throw up every time I brush my teeth. I thought I would be over this by now but at 20w it's back with a vengeance and it SUCKS.

Solidarity, mama.

@graceandjoy: Yes, it is when one gags (and can be nauseous) but nothing comes to fruition (* no reflux or vomiting). It can be intermittent or continuous based on one's presence to a stimuli -- in our case, the latrine! 😉😂 It is horrible! 🤢

@LadyDi: Uggh yeah I'm fully prepared to be like this. And it really doesn't help that I have to pee A LOT lol!

@Kaohinani: Haha yes to the yes! I forgot about cleaning the toilet too! DH has pretty much taken over that cuz I just CANNOT. And I am mostly just home or at the office so no where disgusting, so I know it's completely in my head, yet it won't stop! Is dry heaving when you keep gagging nonstop??

@graceandjoy: 🤔 I'm not even pregnant and public restrooms make me gag! 🤢🙄😳😂 I gag when I clean the toilet after company has visited EVERY TIME. 🤦‍♀️ It was horrible when I was pregnant (with both of my full term pregnancies) and just opening a bathroom door (especially leading to public stalls) would make me feel hot and cool and then I would dry heave. My heart  goes to you because it is such a disgusting sensation brought on by such an inane catalyst. Hopefully, yours will soon end as your pregnancy progresses. 🤞

This happened to me with blowing my nose or even thinking about blowing my nose. I didn’t even really have MS but I’d gag every time. It didn’t go away until I had the baby.

I'm 15 weeks and in general my MS has gotten better, just a little sick morning/evenings. And I know this is completely psychological, but every time I go to the bathroom, take my kids to the bathroom, sometimes even just thinking about bathroom stuff, I start gagging like crazy. The more I tell myself not to think about it, the worse it ends up. It's not just smell either. I have this with brushing teeth too but not as bad. Is there anyway to try to make myself get over it?!
