@adira I know that pumping would be a good idea but just being realistic I don't know that I can find more time at work and DH gets home late so I have no one to watch LO while I attach myself to the pump all evening :bummed:

@mamaof2 that makes me relax a little. I was feeling like I HAD to make it to a year. I will try reaching LO's pediatrician and see what she says. Can't hurt right? Thanks!

You are so close to one, I think I would focus on solids more and not stress about the BM.

If your supply was dropping and your LO still wanted to nurse then I would pump more and take supplements but since LO is weaning I would let your supply dry up.

I started both of my kids on milk around 11 months due to low BM supply - Ped said it wasn't necessary to do formula for 1 month and to just move to milk.

I started pumping after ever feed to keep my supply up and be able to make up for what I was missing during the week at work.

LO have become progressively less and less interested in breastfeeding. He is now about ten and a half months and I would say this has been happening gradually over the last two months. I know this is the way things are supposed to go but him doing this is causing me to lose my supply. I am pumping less and less at work and now am not making enough to get him through the day. I have tried getting him to eat more but he is squirmy and wants to go go go so short of tying him down there is not much I can do. This weekend I began taking fenugreek to see if that would help but so far no luck. I am fine with it being over when it is over but would like to at least get him to a year. Anyone go through this? How did you handle it?
