The living room is a total blank slate, it's not painted and there is no current decor. We are planning to replace the current couches in there, which are a beige/tan color, but not for awhile. So with this dining room set, I'm planning to just decorate around that for the whole space. We have family room that we've been using as our main living space. I think the accent color would be dependent on what kind of colors and tone your living room is so it'll tie together since it's all open. I need hive help! Is anyone good at picking paint colors?</p> <p>We just bought this dining room set. Our dining room is open to the living room area I'm thinking of one accent wall with a darker color and then a lighter shade of that for the rest of the area. It needs to be fairly light in general since this area of the house isn't abundantly sunny.
