We have the myride65. I don't love it, it went in our extra car. I like Evenflo car seats much better than Graco. They are easier to adjust. Bonus: Evenflows tend to be cheaper.

@simplyfelicity: Finding a lighter color might help more than the type of fabric then :) I would imagine the black would be hotter when you first get in the car :)

@catgirl: Thanks for the info, I must have missed that about the rf. The color doesn't really matter t me, I was just putting all the considerations out there.
@Mrs. Lion: I basically live on the sun, so I liked that it had mesh instead of this jersey like fabrick. Yeah, we are splitting hairs here. :silly:

Extended RF is important to me, so the higher weight limit of the second one is what i would get.

We recently got the graco extend2fit and we've been happy with it.

New carseat recommendations are that you have your LO rear face until they are 2 or longer if they still meet height and weight requirements. I would definitely get a seat where they can rear-face as long as humanly possible, especially since the price difference is only $20.

Why does one company have so many choices? The second one looks a lot like the Graco 4ever which we have and really like, so that's my vote!

The more leg room for me was a biggie :) I voted for #2! Assuming you have AC in your car I don't think the fabric will matter that much in the long run.

Is the second one NOT machine washable? That would be a deal breaker. It only takes getting car sick once...

I would go with whichever is easier to install and fits front to back in the car. If those are equal and both are washable I would prob do re second so you can rf as long as you want.

Are you worried about front to back space at all? The extend2fit can be more compact. I personally would go for the extend2fit since it will rear face longer (50 pounds versus 40). Most kids won't need the extra ten pounds but you never know! Different stores carry different colors FYI - so there might be a color you like more.

We got the Graco Contender for DH's car and we are ready to move DS out of the bucket seat in my car now. We like the Graco but wanted to get something a little "nicer" for everyday this weekend

I am trying to decide between...
1. The Graco Mysize65 with rapid release: one cupholder, 40 lb rear facing, 65 lbs capacity for ff, fabric seems like it might be warmer in summer, shell is machine washable, like this color more...$179.99

2. Graco extend2fit: 2 cupholders, 50 lbs rear facing, 65 lb capacity also, provides 5 more inches of leg room while rf (DS is 95% for height), fabric seems like it would be better in the heat (mesh like), I like the color less... $199

Help me! I want something I will be happy with longterm. Thanks!
