This used to happen to me a lot. I lived in a different time zone, and people from home would forget and text me way too early in the morning. In addition to ignoring/not replying until a normal hour, I'd also remind them about the time. Except they'd usually stop once I reminded them! I think you are well within your rights to be snarky this time!</p> <p>Also, I started keeping my phone on do not disturb at night. I can get phone calls (bc I assume they will be emergencies) and texts from a select few people, but that's it. He told this guy that he was racking up overage charges for all the texts (which was true, DH's plan charged him for texts over some number). Wonder if that would work for you? This guy didn't get the hint though, so DH ended up disabling texting on his phone.
