The outlets for these stores are great too. </p> <p>I needed a few key pieces for my new job too:</p> <p>White flowy blouse- Nordstrom rack (love this becaus it pairs casually with shorts for a chic summer outfit)<br /> Blue flowy blouse- Nordstrom rack</p> <p>Two cap sleeve ruffle blouses from banan republic outlet<br /> Dress pants<br /> Nude pumps</p> <p>A few basic tees/sweaters from loft<br /> Grey dress pants from loft</p> <p>Pencil skirt- I got one from a thrift store actually but originally it was from old navy surprisingly enough! </p> <p>A few dresses- again, I like loft, banan republic, j crew, anthro, gap for these. I try to find dresses in silhouettes and prints that are nice for any season, flattering, and able to wear for weekend wear or work.</p> <p>Invest in a nice pair of boots! I have a few pairs and love them. In the spring and summer I wear them with knee length dresses, bare legs. For fall and winter, tights or leggings with a dress and boots! You can also wear them under dress pants. </p> <p>Have fun!! I haven't bought clothes in almost 4 years. :/ I've bought some jeans and socks in the past year, but otherwise I've only purchased maternity clothes since before I was pregnant with DD. As a SAHM, I wear mostly jeans and t-shirts, which is fine, but this summer I'll be back in a professional environment and my ratty old t-shirts just aren't going to cut it.</p> <p>I need to go shopping sometime in the next couple weeks, but I don't know what to buy? Probably business casual is fine (stuff I can wear at work and at home). Suggestions? Pictures of outfits/pieces would be great. I'm thinking I need maybe 10 tops, 4-5 bottoms, a couple new pairs of shoes, and a couple cardigans? Does that sound reasonable for a starting wardrobe? </p>
