I've given her bottles at night and we stop and burp in between and she still will finish the whole thing. I guess I'm just going to have to see how she does there and then can adjust. The thing is, it took her a while to learn to stop eating from the bottle when she was full (I'm not totally sure she has this mastered yet, I've only been back at work for like 2 weeks), but at first she finished every little bit from every bottle no matter what, so I had my husband practice putting less in and then giving more if it was needed. 3oz seems to be the sweet spot for her, its also right in line with how much I am pumping too. </p> <p>With a bottle my LO will SCREAM if she finishes what is there and she isn't full, so you might try smaller bottles and add milk if necessary to get an idea, and follow her cues. I'm going to send at least 4 oz and I'll probably send 4 bottles, with the 4th one being one that can stay the next day if needed. So, on Mondays when I send thawed milk, I will send that 4th bottle (if needed) as refridgerated milk. I'm currently able to pump 6-7 oz. while I'm at work, but I plan on sending 9 oz. bottles to daycare for right now. I don't know that she'd finish 4 oz &amp; you don't want to waste BM! I would send an extra bottle, though. If she doesn't take it at daycare you can give it to her at home. Or, I know you have used formula &amp; aren't opposed to it... That was the case for months 4-9.5. By 9.5 months, she was eating a very steady diet of solids and was less interested in nursing (and my supply TANKED), so we went to three 3 oz. bottles (for a total of 9 ounces) + lunch and snacks. Today we were just around the house so I did bottles when I would normally be at work. Our day went like this: </p> <p>6 am ( why when we had nowhere to go!) nurse<br /> Nap 2.5 hours<br /> 9:20 am 4 oz bottle, drank 2 oz before she stopped. I think she could have had more, but we were at church and I was worried she was going to drink too much, too quickly and then spit it up. Plus, she stopped acting interested in eating then.<br /> Nap<br /> 11:45 am 4 oz bottle, drank 3.5 oz<br /> Nap 2.5 hours<br /> 3:00 pm 5 oz bottle (thought I'd see if she actually took that much), drank only 3 oz.<br /> 45 minute nap<br /> 5:15 nursed both sides. </p> <p>What do you think I should try tomorrow? I was worried about giving her too much or too little. She had a bottle with my mom on Sunday and she ended up drinking too much too quickly and threw it all back up. </p> <p>She is 3 months old. She shows signs that she is hungry, fists in mouth, etc., but I also think that's just her age. I'm thinking of sending 3 4 oz. bottles. What you think or suggest? </p>
