It's a softshell with a really nice soft lining. I detached the sweatshirt part and just wear the softshell. Washable, covers my butt in leggings (I'm 5'10"), they have it in black and olive. No luck at the Columbia employee store this week.</p> <p>It needs to cover my booty in leggings<br /> Machine washable<br /> Ok to wear inside not winter weight, down or faux fur<br /> Hood or not<br /> Water resistant a plus<br /> Not maroon and probably not olive.<br /> Lightweight/packable a plus.</p> <p>I'd wear it mostly with jeans or leggings and ballet flats or rain boots.</p> <p>Basically it's replacing my J Crew field jacket. </p>
