DD is 14 months and she still beats the crap out of me when she nurses - pinches, hits, rakes her nails across my skin. It drives me nuts. When she does it I unlatch her and tell her no. That usually stops it for a few minutes (seconds) and she does seem to be getting better. He used it to self soothe and I'm convinced he caused a small bald spot (or at least helped it, coupled with post partum hairloss). The only thing that finally stopped it was getting a lovey for him that he could torture. It's basically his only self soothing mechanism. When he nurses he constantly pinches my breasts, chest and arms. He also pinches me when he's tired. It makes me CRAZY and it's legitimately really painful. I've tried holding his hand but he just unlatches and screams until I let go and let him pinch me again. This has been an ongoing issue as long as I can remember. You can't discipline and infant and I just keep assuming he'll grow out of it, but it's really getting to me at this point. Any magic ideas? </p>
