<description>&#60;p&#62;Practice with a doll.  It is so much easier to learn on a stationary head.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Also, the trickiest part for me is keeping enough tension at the bottom so the hair doesn't fall out. Make sure and hold the braid there tightly while you put the band in.

<description>&#60;p&#62;A regular braid is very easy, but a french braid will prevent tangles more at bedtime and looks nicer for daytime! French braiding is pretty easy to do, but I recommend you get a handle on just a regular braid first.
