broccoli would get mushy

I vote for spinach, orzo and beans - yum!

The broccoli & beans sounds like a yummy combo! I probably wouldn't add it all at the same time; maybe 2-3 veggies & 1 of the "starches".

I would probably go with the beans, broccoli, spinach and rice out of that list. But you really can't go wrong adding any or all!

I made a crockpot meal recently that was basically chicken breasts, mushrooms, homemade cream of mushroom soup, and white wine. I finished it off with some cream cheese and lemon juice. It was delicious but we ate the chicken and were left with a lot of really good "juice" at the end. I was thinking it could be used as a base for a good soup but wasn't sure what else to add other than chicken broth. Other than some rotisserie chicken, what else would you add?

I know I have the following at home:
frozen broccoli
frozen green beans
frozen artichokes
frozen spinach
rice
orzo
cannelini beans

I go back and forth wanting to add it all in and wanting to be selective. Thoughts? Anything else you would suggest to add?
