I can't remember exactly what color.</p> <p>The open part of our deck gets A LOT of sun, but I haven't noticed it getting to hot to step on, I'm in the northeast, so not terribly hot. We're replacing our wood deck with composite so it would not be feasible to change if I get it wrong! Here's a pic of our house color and deck now and my two options. One very close to what we have (which I dont hate, but dont love either), and the other a bit darker (but I'm afraid its too dark!). (Ignore the boards standing against the house, those have been ruled out.) The new rail will be composite also - white posts and top/bottom rail with black balusters. We're going to be changing the fascia board and lattice to white and fixing all that up too.
