I just saw the Vintage White online yesterday (maybe on HB? I can't even remember now) and fell in love. That is my vote!

@lemondrop: Do you have Pinterest? I have toooooons of DIY/minimalistic pins for a play kitchen that I'd love to share with you. I can't pull it off, but I can live vicariously through your play kitchen! Haha!

@Crumbs: that is so cute! I love that set up, it will definitely be an inspiration for me later this year :) I agree, sturdy and not easily tipped is important.

One nice thing the green one has going for it is the storage space in the cupboards! I'm jealous that you have plenty of space for a kid kitchen, I'm still not sure what to do in our small space.

@lemondrop: I totally agree with you! At first, all I wanted was this and I really had my heart set on it. I wasn't interested in the big bulky kitchens. Then DD became mobile! I wish I listened to DH and just bought a big kitchen to begin with because she needs something substantial that i know won't tip over and won't move around. The drawers ..... I should have listened to the bees about the drawers!! Haha!

@Reese: The other stove, I've decided to put in the kitchen so she can cook with me. I actually like it a lot but it's so light that she always ends up moving it. I'll look more into the Ikea hacks, but I think I just want to not have to mess with anything. We also don't have much time left before her birthday.

I totally love the lime green one, but I would go Ikea or diy. Kids don't care how fancy it is, it's just a space for imagination and exploration. I would avoid pink though, boys like play kitchens too :) That's what my boy is getting for Christmas!

Young House Love has a nice breakdown of one they made for their daughter that looks totally do-able.

@Crumbs: I like the ikea white, vintage white or the last one (but probably couldn't justify the cost)

They have some really good ikea "hacks" you could always check that out and it would semi-dress up the ikea one, and you would also have your own personal touch on it.

Are you planning on having more children? If so, I probably wouldn't go with any of the pink sets. The vintage pink, while cute, is overwhelming to me.

It seems that regardless of which one you choose - you will have two stoves. I think the stove you already bought would go best with the ikea or vintage white.

My .02

I voted Ikea (we have it, DS loves it). Ours is in the living room and I don't mind it so much because it is very minimal and white and works with our decor (fairly minimalist). As a question of taste, I would not like to stare at a pink kitchen in our living room for the foreseeable future.

I think Mrs. Jacks has the vintage kitchen and my kids love it! Plus I think it's really stylish. :) Otherwise, my second choice would be for the Ikea kitchen. It looks really simple and streamlinEd which I really like!

@aprk: They're all so cute! The thing is, I really had my heart set on DIY one and this is the first time I've really looked into the Kidkraft ones. Buying one of these will free up some time, which is great but there's so many options!

I think the poll is missing the button for the first ikea one, but I love that one. Very clean, and functional! I also am a sucker for pink, so the vintage pink with stainless steel is pretty sweet too! I like the sizes of these as well. not too big and bulky. They are all nice, you won't go wrong!

The plan was to DIY a play kitchen, but it's stressing me out! I've already bought a stove and finding a stable counter top with drawers that match it's dimensions require a lot more tweaking and effort than I had previously thought.

So now I'm panicking and found KidKraft kitchens available without ridiculous shipping charges! Yay!

I've listed them in order of price, with the most expensive at the bottom. I've also added the Ikea play kitchen for comparison. I should add that the space we have is a corner ans space is no longer a issue (completely opposite of what I wanted before)! But I'm not convinced about the hefty price tag of the corner kitchen, it's more than twice price of the Ikea kitchen.
