My hubby calls his parents and I call mine. This Mothers day though neither of us called her as hubby was mad at her for trying to start something/being bitchy about me to him from something that happened at dinner the night before. So I didn't feel bad he didn't call her since he was standing up for me. I did send my MIL flowers for a couple of years, but I stopped. DH seldom calls them, and definitely not on mothers/fathers day. But if they happened to call, I'd talk to my MIL. this year I did wish her happy mothers day because she happened to call and my FIL is not around. </p> <p>My FIL is my nemesis, but my MIL is a sweetheart. Today she was asking why I haven't potty trained my youngest who is 25 months old b/c I told her I was on my way out to buy diapers. I told her b/c he hasn't shown interest. And then she kept on asking why?
