My LO had it, and has now grown out of it. She was on lansoprazole, a similar drug, and it took three days for us to see a difference. I've also heard MORE tummy time can help, as well as just rubbing the back to burp instead of patting, and not putting too much pressure on the tummy. She probably just has an immature digestive system. Try not to stress too much; remember this too shall pass (it didn't feel like it ever would while we were in the midst of it but she's been off mess for almost two months now and doing great).

Poor bunny!
I don't have any Nexium advice but I know a lot of friends with reflux babies that the Rock N Play, swing or angled sleeper saved them.
(((hugs)))

@jessibear: oh I just saw your response, thank you - no real change. she is kind of having okay days and bad days..today is BAD. I'm wondering if it's colic or reflux or allergens or what but omg it's killing us. She's been on the Nexium for 12 days now

So sorry, I just saw this! C had reflux and I think was on a generic form. It really helped after a week or so, she was like a different baby. Have you seen any change?

My 2 week old has just been diagnosed (used loosely) by the paed as having acid reflux. He gave us Nexium to try but didnt really tell us anything about it at all. We started LO on it yesterday - she threw it all up. Take 2 today and she's honestly had her worst day ever. The reflux looks like it has gotten worse - she looks like she's in crazy pain and has been crying nonstop

Any experience with Nexium? Know how long it takes to work? Anything else we can try? DH and I are at our wits end. I just want to cry everytime she cries
We already hold her upright for feeding, keep her upright after feeding, I've started to eliminate dairy and soy.. advice? commiserations? anyone else had experience with this?
