@Beehive: This isn't the exact post I was thinking of, but it's close:

I did solids once a day from 6 through 11 months after nursing in the morning. I followed some guideline on KellyMom in re: getting mostly breastmilk for the first year. That breakfast gradually got bigger and is still huge.

At 11m we started doing an afternoon snack around 3. That gradually got larger and moved to 2:30 (after nursing). Then we introduced a yogurt at 5pm (after nursing) around 14m. By 15m he was having a huge breakfast, a small snack at lunch, a bento lunch at 2:30 and dinner at 5. that's what we do now at 17m.

In your schedule above, I'd keep everything the same and feed her solids after bfing in the morning. I'll see if I can find the kellymom article for you.

My 7 month old's day looks like this:

6 or 6:30a -wake, bottle
9a - nap
10:30a - solids
11:30a - bottle
2p - nap
3:30 or 4p - wake, bottle
5p - solids
6:15p - bath
6:30p - bottle
7p - bed

I sort of took the nap schedule from Weissbluth's "healthy sleep habits, happy child". That's what he recommends for this age and so that's where we started (I am the proud mama of a very high needs baby and that makes it really hard to tell when she needs a nap). She took to the 9a and 2p schedule and I just sort of followed her lead on the rest. Now we're in a good routine and it's nice to know what to expect. I would love for her AM wake-up to be a little later, but I haven't had any success trying to manipulate things.

Miss A has just dropped her third nap and started to get herself on a more predictable routine. I had some help from a postnatal advisor but our routine pretty much worked itself out.

0715-0730. Wake up and Nurse
0945. Nurse
1000. Nap
1200. Wakeup and nurse
1245-1300. Lunch
1500. Nap 2
1600. Wake up and nurse
1730. Dinner
1900. Nurse and bath
1930. Bed

We now go three hours between naps pretty consistently and I kind of fit the solids in around our meals so we're all eating together. I also throw in extra nursing sessions on demand and as required. My postnatal advisor said that in her experience most babies are on a two nap routine somewhere between six and eight months. She also said to try and wear Miss A out so that she's good and tired for her naps!

Alternatively you could try the 2-3-4 schedule maybe?

I have no idea how things are *supposed* to work, but what's working for my LO now (7.5 months) is keeping him up between his first and second feeds, so he takes a looong nap until his third. So:

7am Wake, bottle
10am Solids, bottle, then down for a nap
1pm Wake, bottle
4pm Solids, bottle
5pm Nap
6pm Wake
7pm Solids/bottle/bedtime routine
8pm Bed

Since he turned 6 months or so, I haven't been able to figure out the best schedule for my son (currently nearly 7 months old). The addition of solids into the schedule confuses me, and he's been fighting his third nap (some days he'll take it - and a long one at that - and other days he has skipped it entirely).

His old schedule, which worked really well for months, was:
7am wake up and nurse
8:30 nap
11 nurse
12:30 nap
2 nurse
3:30 nap
5 nurse
7:30 nurse
8pm bed

Does anyone have any ideas on what his new schedule should be? At the moment I've been giving him solids at breakfast and lunch, and I'd like to keep his bedtime the same if possible.
