@Mrs. High Heels: @Smurfette: Oooo! Thanks! Those are both awesome ideas!!

@Bao: I've never done it before so I'm not sure yet! I have a Brie baker but I haven't decided what to top it with. My sister used to wrap it in phylo pastry which was really good!!

I think you need more quiches, 2 a person doesn't seem like a lot. What about a skewer with mozzarella, tomato, salami, and basil, with olive oil drizzled over it? Can make someone with salami for the vegetarians.

Is your party mostly just appetizers? I have a REALLLLLY easy festive main dish you could make (only 3-4 ingredients!)... For 30 ppl I would make 15 thighs/breasts and cut them in half.

It's called "cranberry russian chicken"

Ingredients (you'll probably need to double this recipe):
- Russian or Catalina Dressing (8 oz bottle)
- 1 packet of onion soup mix
- 1 can of cranberries
- 6-8 chicken thighs (you can use breasts too)

Here's the super easy recipe - http://allrecipes.com/recipe/cranberry-sauce-chicken-ii/ - and I only bake mine for an hour total and it's cooked perfectly (not dry)!

@BabyBear: Pasta salad is a good idea!

What if I made rice to go with the meatballs? Maybe a fried rice?

@sslm: aw, okay! How about making tortellini pasta salad? Actually I'm thinking of all the things I could help you with! That's always a huge hit though! I could probably sit here and name a lot. Haha. Your menu sounds great though.

I think it sounds delicious! I am coming over for some spinach dip and bread. YUM!

If I think of anything to add that would be easier on you - I'll hop back on. Perhaps make a big crock pot of Chili and people could have like "taco" in a bowl sort of thing. Basically chili, fritos, and cheese.

@BabyLove: Yes! The nacho dip is in a pan bigger than a lasagna dish. I bought the biggest sized brie, and we have a ton of hummus and the spinach dip is big too!

They're super easy! I use wonton wrappers instead of the noodles though. Love it. And got it from Pinterest :)

7 pm is tricky cause I'm sure some people will have eaten and some will have fasted for the occasion! I'm sure with more quiche you should be good. Assuming the quantity of the dips and such is a lil bigger than the standard?

I think it sounds like you have enough variety for 30 people.

If you want to add something I like doing kabobs with a couple different dips for them. I do a hosin-ginger beef with chile-garlic sauce and then a chicken with peanut sauce. I saw a bacon wrapped potato recipe that I really want to give a try on Pinterest today too.

@BabyLove: Ooo, thanks for the feedback!! I think you're right about the quiche, 2 per person doesn't seem like enough.

The party is at 7, and it's not supposed to be supper, but I know people won't eat a ton before they come.

Well, what time is the party? Is the plan for this to be their dinner? Disclaimer: I tend to go waaaaay overboard in quantity and that is why I'm about to give you these numbers:

I'd probably do more quiche, just in case. Like bump it up to 75? I talked myself out of saying 90.

If the meatballs are small, make a lot. People pop them like candy! I'd say 2-3 a person, assuming everyone eats one (I always assume everyone will have one or two or three of everything, hence my overabundance of food every time)

And lastly, look to Pinterest (if you have an account already) for inspiration! I have a party coming up. I'm making mini lasagnas. They're easy, layer in muffin pans. I'm also making little pastry balls, using various ingredients/doughs.

I would love everyone's input on my party food plans. We're having a party for about 30 people on Saturday. I have no idea how much food I'll need, but here's what I'm planning:

- nacho dip with chips (cream cheese/salsa/cheese dip)
- baked brie with baguette
- veggies and hummus (also some pita for the hummus)
- pepperoni and multiple cheeses
- mini quiches (I have 60, is that enough???)
- sweet and sour meatballs (how many should I make??)
- spinach dip in a pumpernickel bread bowl
- fruit tray
- assortment of homemade treats!

I'm thinking I need to add some other stuff... but I am not sure what, and it needs to be simple because I am 23 weeks pregnant and already regretting planning this :P

What do you guys think?
