Maybe she truly needs some new sleep cues to figure out how to self soothe since she is sans lovey now? You could talk about/practice squeezing her muscles tight then relaxing them and then doing "sweet dream thoughts" about her favorite activities/places.

I feel like we just came out the other side of this particular dark hole. It was all the nap. It's tricky cuz now if she doesn't get to bed by 7:30 she's a big tantrum-y mess. But taking away the nap improved night time sleep.

@BeachMama: Same here! He was always hit or miss with naps, but night sleep was always so great. I feel like we're paying the price for that now!

@2peasinapod: Thanks - it's good to know we aren't alone. We've been kinda spoiled because she's been such a good sleeper up til now.

I have no advice, but we're going through the same thing right now. We used to give him a kiss and say goodnight, leave and he would go to sleep on his own. Suddenly, he's crying with us having to go in 3 or 4 times to settle him and get him to go down. Bedtime went from a 45 minute routine with bath and reading to a 2+ hour routine depending on the night.

My 3 year old DD used to be a great sleeper but that's all gone to crap over the past month or so. She resists going to bed, she cries and says she doesn't know how to go to sleep, she wakes up in the middle of the night. She ends up not going to sleep til 9 or even 10pm and wakes at 6 or 7am. The circles under her eyes are so dark she looks like she has a black eye. j

Any tips on helping my girl sleep again?

Full disclosure - we weaned her off of chewing on her lovey last week. She's been doing pretty well without it but I'm sure it's still affecting her sleep. She's been sleeping with her other stuffed animals instead of the lovey.
