We did our second honeymoon recently at Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica .... it was amazing! All inclusive, and not a "party resort" (which was a plus for us, but I guess we're old lol).
I want to go back!!

We've stayed at Black Parrot Suites in the Seychelles, Banyan Tree Phuket, and Half Moon in Jamaica and would recommend all of them. I'm not sure if the last 2 are exclusively all-inclusive resorts but we went with the all-inclusive option and were very happy.

Hope your SIL enjoys her honeymoon!

@petunia354: ETA: you are so lucky! .... we stayed at the Stonefield next door regretably. We booked an a/c room, but didn't get one. We didn't have TV, which I knew going into it and liked, but man did my husband have a fit. He read the travel magazines and brochures 100 times he was so bored. Lol. If only he didn't make me cancel the other reservation. Funny thing is we went on a tour and had to stop off at Turtle something resort and his eyes popped wide open. It was like he saw civilization for the first time. Going forward I know to book a Sandals vacay for him. No more unique hotels in the less traveled parts of a country.

Another vote for St. Lucia. Depending on their budget, Jalousie would be awesome. We spent a few days there (day trips to their beach as we couldn't afford even the low-end rooms).

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: We stayed at Jalousie in August 2011 and definitely took advantage of the A/C! I regret not doing a dinner at Anse though.

@petunia354: the Jalousie was the third contender. I actually booked there and my husband made me cancel. This place has a/c and TVs in each room, which not all the resorts had. It's gorgeous, very European with clean lines and white linens. This place actually has easy beach access. The Anes and the resort we stayed at are on the mountains.

Probably not what you're looking for but we went to DisneyWorld - stayed onsite and had the dining package so it was all inclusive (except alcohol). We had a blast and got lots of attention and special gifts because we had "Just Married" buttons.

Sugar Beach (formerly Jalousie Plantation) in St. Lucia. They have villas perched up in the rainforest looking out over the ocean and each villa has it's own plunge pool!! Also, it's a UNESCO world heritage site, it's truly breathtaking and very high end. As in, we probably will never be able to afford to stay there again!

Matt Damon and his wife renewed their vows here over the summer!!

ETA: You can go a la carte or choose to have an all inclusive package with breakfast. lunch, dinner or just breakfast & dinner.

@AmandaB8: I only had dinner there. We stayed at another resort close by. The view is spectacular. I narrowed down Anes to my top three, but my husband wanted me to spend less on the vacation. I liked this place becausw of the view and the furnishing, which were island/ exotic. Soufeire (not sure about the spelling) is the city and it's off the beaten path. Very tranquil on the that side of the island.

We went to Mata Chica in Belize and loved it! Really nice and awesome food. Several friends have gone to Secret Bay in Dominica in the past few years. I've heard nothing but wonderful things from all of them.

We started at Ti Kaye in St Lucia and loved it! http://www.tikaye.com

It's not all-inclusive, but you can add on meal packages. It's off the beaten path, total relaxation, beautiful views, huts with personal pools. If your SIL is more into being in the action, it might not be a good fit.

I'm trying to help my SIL pick a place to honeymoon - she wants an all-inclusive, tropical place. She's definitely looking for specific resorts that people have been to and loved. She's also someone who would rather have a high-end honeymoon, so the nicer the better. And not Mexico (they've both been there many times).

Any suggestions?! I would love to be able to point her toward a fabulous place!
