@Mrs. Bee: We plan to go just as she's ready for her first nap, which is fine. It's coming home that I'm worried about. We'll probably leave the campsite at 6pm (her normal bed time) and she'll sleep all the way home (hope!)...But then wake up when we get home. Then what?

will she be sleeping in the car on the drive? that shouldn't be that bad then! charlie was always fine when he slept in the stroller.

LO is 10.5 months old and for the past 2.5 weeks has been sleeping completely through the night (6pm - 6:30am) - Success!!!

BUT...

A camping day trip has come up, which will mean, should we decide to go, considerable disruption to her naps and possible bed time (not staying overnight, though). It would be a great time with friends but is it worth it? Will this ruin the success we have just achieved?

ETA: It's 2.5 hours away.
