I've never been asked by security, only the check-in counter. </p> <p>FYI Southwest absolutely requires it. She is 8 months old. We have her social security card &amp; certificate from hospital stating her name and that we are her parents. Do you think we will be okay???</p> <p>I couldn't imagine missing Christmas with my family :'( </p>
