I did a sample of benjamin moore sterling on the wall (not sterling silver, i didn't know there was a difference?!) and it's definitely a light grey. I think I'm having trouble visualizing! We do have decent light coming in, especially in the early part of the day but I think the bigger help is bright white trim, white curtains and a light colored floor. </p> <p>I think you can do gray with dark furniture if you are careful to keep everything else light and bright.
