I needed to temp to confirm ovulation because my OPKs were too hard to read most of the time.</p> <p>ETA: Have you been using the OPKs continuously? And temping really helps confirm O! I've bee using opk's this month. I was almost positive so I was taking them 2x a day. The day before yesterday it was almost positive in the am, then wayy light in the pm. Yesterday I wanted to double check they the surge was leaving so I tested in the am and it was positive again, but the pm it was back to way light. Sadly, that cycle ended in a miscarriage. Or just the one? Temping will give you a clearer picture, and as far as I understand, the OKP's only tell you that your body is geared up and ready to ovulate. Only a shift in your BBT will tell you if you've actually ovulated.
