Yikes, that's angry chart. I'm going to guess that O hasn't come yet (because if you look at the "good" datapoints, they are similar, and I think the big drop was a fluke). Often when the chart is super wonky, it's because O will be delayed.

@Happygal: I've been charting for a while. My O day varies substantially from cycle to cycle, (anywhere from Day 12- Day 18-- I don't have a "normal" O day), which as you can imagine, makes charting to prevent pretty tricky, but do-able. Other than that, everything tends to be pretty textbook.

@Leialou: Hmm... that's a good possibility. My body has kind of had a rough go this month between getting very, very little sleep for several days when LO was sick earlier this month, and then being sick myself following that. I hadn't thought of the possibility of that delaying ovulation. I'm going to look into that.

@Red_Seattle: Hi! How long have you been charting for? Do you usually ovulate around CD 17? That's what I would guess for your O date this go round, especially since it's the only day EWCM is recorded. Minus CD 20 (which shows on open dot for a different time anyway), it looks like you're temps are on the rise.

You say there are lots of things going on affecting your chart, so I don't know if I would be concerned unless it was an established pattern.

I see what I would think to be ovulation, but your temps didn't rise. Have you been stressing about anything lately? Maybe your body geared up to O but delayed it for some reason.

So-- just to explain, DH and I aren't TTC right now. We use FAM to prevent pregnancy... but I'm a little worried about this month. Usually my cycles are pretty textbook-- O days/cycle length varies from cycle to cycle, but my chart always shows a clear ovulation, clear thermal shift, basically all signs are pretty clear.

This month has been bonkers--for a load of reasons, my chart isn't as reliable as usual. (Including, as you can tell, I haven't been able to take consistent wake time temps-- it's been between 5-7am, but still, not good for charting.) But what looks to me as my O day isn't being followed by a clear thermal shift... Do you see a pattern I don't? Can you tell at all what might be going on?
